Programme
Management
Organisations often find themselves,
for any number of reasons, executing a number of
interdependent projects. Each project will have its own
part or full-time project manager and project plan/
charter. The projects may be sequential, may partially
overlap or may take place in parallel. Generally each
project team will include both internal and external
resources. Acting in the role of programme manager,
Ciall:
- Identifies and manages project interdependencies
- Coordinates efforts of individual project managers and teams, managing
cross project dependencies as they arise
- Supports individual project managers within their own project domains,
as may be required
- Manages programme resources and activities against budget
- Reports to programme board
In many instances organisations do
not have people with the relevant skills available to
fill this role. Ciall has a track record of successful
programme management.
