Enterprise resource planning

(ERP) is an enterprise-wide information solution designed to coordinate all the resources, information, and activities needed to complete business processes such as order fulfillment or billing.  An ERP system supports all the core business functions such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Financials, Projects, Human Resources and Customer Relationship Management and Reporting.  An ERP system is based on a common database and a modular software design with the data for the various business functions integrated in real-time.

  • Timely management information to run your business – the ERP solution should capture all the underlying transactions and provide the data required to present the relevant financial and operational information on a timely basis – be that through preformatted reports, ad hoc reporting, business intelligence e.g. key performance indicators
  • Efficient deployment of shared resources (people, plant, facilities, transport) across your business – while providing a clear understanding of the costs of each resource e.g. through use of standard costing mechanisms
  • Detailed management and financial accounts – with support for intercompany transactions and multicurrency
  • Integration between your ERP solution and other operational systems – to avoid the effort and risks associated with any re entry of data
