Background

EventElephant was launched in 2007 by a team of entrepreneurs with experienced backgrounds in organising events and specifically to solve critical issues for event organisers like reducing costs, maximising time and generally being more efficient. EventElephant (www.eventelephant.com) is a self service online product that makes it very simple for anyone to set up a great looking event website and take registrations and payments securely online. EventElephant not only transforms attendee management for organisers of every event type, it also makes huge difference to their bottom lines.

Due to the high volume of expected financial transactions, EventElephant made a decision early on to implement a robust financial and reporting solution that was scalable and functionally rich.

 

 

 

 

 

Solution

EventElephant started working with Ciall in 2008. At that stage they were reviewing the challenge facing a new company to streamline financial and management reporting across the company. In particular, their focus was on high volume online transactions, speed, reliability and reduction of manual entry within the accounts department.  Working closely with Ciall, EventElephant decided to implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV.  Dynamics NAV and SQL server enables EventElephant to transfer all required information from the Web Portal into Dynamics NAV seamlessly. This is turn enables detailed analysis of event performance.
